Interventionism

Interventionism is a system of division of labor under private ownership of some factors of production and public ownership of other factors of production which goes beyond the factors needed to provide defense. The government uses the police to defend individuals against some aggression and theft but also to provide other goods and obtains the factors or production needed in order to accomplish this via taxation. In addition, the government uses its police in order to threaten or perform aggression against individuals who don’t obey certain directives which go beyond outlawing aggression.
