Donald Trump is now leading in 5 out of the 5 most recent swing state polls.
Let’s go through them one by one.
According to a JMC poll released on July 11th Trump leads in Florida by 5 points:
Trump 46%, Clinton 42% ( Others 3%, 8% undecided)
According to a Monmouth University released on July 12th Trump leads in Iowa by 2 points:
Among Iowa voters likely to participate in November’s presidential election, 44% currently support Trump and 42% back Clinton. Another 6% intend to vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson, 1% say they will support Green Party candidate Jill Stein, 2% say they will vote for another candidate, and 6% are undecided.
And according to a Quinnipiac poll released on July 13th Trump leads by 1 to 6 points in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida:
Florida – Trump leads Clinton 41 – 36 percent, with 7 percent for Libertarian Gary Johnson and 4 percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein;
Ohio – Trump at 37 percent to Clinton’s 36 percent, with Johnson at 7 percent and Stein at 6 percent;
Pennsylvania – Trump over Clinton 40 – 34 percent with 9 percent for Johnson and 3 percent for Stein.
These polls were all conducted some time between June 30th and July 11th.
